If Not Us – Ronda Jane’s Hope

"If not us, then who?"

That question is what birthed Ronda Jane’s Hope (RJH) — a mission under the Outreach Path of Harmony Alliance, part of Redeemed Creatives Collective LLC.

RJH exists to serve some of the most vulnerable young mothers in Uganda: girls between the ages of 11 and 14, many of them carrying babies or already raising children. Their reality is heartbreaking. Some are as young as eleven years old and pregnant. Others, still children themselves, are already mothers. And yet, even in hardship, they show a strength, resilience, and joy that is nothing short of God-breathed.

Meeting Immediate Needs

For many of these girls, food is not guaranteed. Hunger is daily. Through RJH, we are meeting those urgent needs in practical ways. Just $40 provides food for a young mother and her baby for an entire month. Every gift is accounted for and recorded for full transparency, because we believe stewardship honors both the giver and the ones receiving.

But this isn’t about handouts. These young women want dignity, not dependency. They want to work, to learn, and to provide for their children.

Building Skills for a Future

Thanks to generous hearts, the first sewing machine has already been donated. Under the guidance of Pastor Ben’s wife, the girls are learning tailoring skills. When they sew, when they work with their hands, they aren’t just stitching fabric — they are stitching hope into their futures.

And the vision doesn’t stop there. We are expanding into:

  • Sewing and tailoring

  • Crocheting

  • Soap making

  • Jewelry making

  • Hairdressing and styling

Supplies are being gathered and shipped in bulk to Uganda. From needles and thread to crochet hooks, beads, silicone molds, and even lightweight salon tools, every item empowers a girl to build a sustainable trade.

The Faces Behind the Mission

Pastor Ben and his wife are on the ground, ministering daily, teaching, and caring for these girls as their own. I send songs with the girls’ names woven into the lyrics, and Pastor Ben tells me, “I see their teeth all day.” That’s how he describes their smiles.

Even in hardship, joy breaks through. Baptisms are taking place in the River Kachuru. Babies are being born healthy. Smiles are spreading in a place that once only held survival and sorrow.

How You Can Help

  • Pray: These young mothers need covering. Prayer changes things.

  • Donate: $40 a month can feed a mother and child. Larger gifts help fund supplies, shipping, and training.

  • Send Supplies: If you have lightweight sewing, crocheting, soap-making, jewelry, or hairdressing supplies, they can be shipped in bulk to Uganda. Contact me for details.

  • Partner: Whether one-time or ongoing, your partnership helps plant roots of dignity and hope that will outlast us.

Why We Do This

The name says it all: If Not Us – Ronda Jane’s Hope. If we don’t step in, who will? These girls don’t have time for someone else to figure it out. They need hope now. They need skills now. They need food now.

This is not charity; it’s Kingdom work. It’s not about building dependency; it’s about establishing dignity. We are not their saviors — Jesus is. We are simply His servants, showing up where He sends us.

You can be part of this story.
Whether you give, pray, send supplies, or simply share this mission with someone else — you are sowing into lives that will ripple across generations.

Together, we are not just feeding children. We are building futures.
